THE ARTS SOCIETY NORTH EAST ESSEX

The Arts Society North East Essex

Founded in 1994, the Society, formerly known as the North East Essex Decorative and Fine Arts Society, is a member of The Arts Society - a national organisation.  Its object is to offer authoritative and entertaining lectures, visits to sites of interest and days devoted to studying a topic in greater depth.

We are a friendly, thriving society whose aim is to enhance the enjoyment and appreciation of the decorative and fine arts, and a broad range of cultural subjects.  The Society also promotes and supports the arts and other cultural activities in the area through the work of the Heritage Volunteers, a Young Arts programme and until recently, Church Recorders.

Members are very welcome to bring a guest to lectures.  To register your guest, please contact the Membership Secretary a few days in advance by email
